Yeah, that's Drama Queen Speak for "A Beautiful Mistake" not anytime soon.

Going back to bed and back to trying to hack my lungs out of my body. Does that make sense? Probably not, I'm delirious.

I just wrote 8,000 words for chapter 9 of A Beautiful Mistake and I forgot to save it!

I only have 1200 words of it, which means I got to try to remember and rewrite 6800 words...yep, kiddies, no update going up tomorrow.

I'm kicking myself in the ass as we speak.

Yes, I fully admit it...I am an idiot of the first order:)

Important lesson learned over the Holiday:

Just because the doctor tells you that you're healing faster than he expected, it doesn't mean that you are healed. XP

I'm four days ahead of schedule for NaNo and still going. I'm hoping to get at least another 2,000 words in today before I head off to bed.

Tomorrow's my surgery and I'm just looking forward to getting this taken care of. I know that I'm going to be as sick as a dog afterwards because the anesthesia always makes me ill.

Getting my update in before I go to sleep:)

I'm ahead of day 2's goal by nearly  1,000 words, which is good because I don't how many days I'm going to be out of commission due to the surgery. Hopefully, if I get well ahead by Sunday, I won't be too far behind when I'm ready to start up again.

I get home from work yesterday and find a voicemail from said nurse that the surgery for my knee would have to be rescheduled. My Tim Hortons English Toffee Cappucino is basically hot flavored water. My lightly toasted bagel is burnt to a crisp AND they put on the wrong cream cheese. It's raining and my knee is killing me and my office smells like a musty closet.
